For five performances only this May, the CSH Playhouse is bringing you the holy grail of musical comedies: Altar Boyz.
It’s a high-energy, soul-saving spoof about a fictitious Christian boy band on the final night of their "Raise the Praise" national tour. These five heartthrobs—Matthew, Mark, Luke, Juan, and Abraham—are on a mission to save the world, one rhythmic dance move and perfectly harmonized pop song at a time.
The Mission
Armed with a "Soul Sensor" (the latest in high-tech pious technology), the Boyz won’t stop until the spirit moves every single person in the room. Will they reach the soul-count goal before the final curtain? You’ll have to be there to find out!
